Today, we commemorate the profound significance of Tunisian Women’s Day, a celebration intertwined with the pivotal date of August 13. In 1956, this date witnessed the enactment of the Personal Status Code (CSP), a legislative landmark that significantly advanced women’s rights within familial contexts.
Tunisian women’s influence echoed powerfully during the Arab Spring of 2011, underscoring their remarkable progress in legal rights, education, and political involvement.
Amidst these milestones and ongoing challenges, let’s stand united, driving gender equality and empowerment for a brighter future.
