1st mini-simulation: 2 July 2022 at FLSH Sousse

This simulation marked the inception of TIMUN Sousse, serving as the first introduction
of our members to the world of diplomacy and laying the foundation for the distinctive
atmosphere that TIMUN Sousse embodies. The simulation contained 2 committees
(WHO and FAO). Everyone enjoyed the sessions and the breaks. Each committee
wrote a well-structured and academic resolution. And we helped each delegate and
journalist practice a little more and dive more into the world of MUN.

2nd mini-simulation: 2 August 2022 at LPS

Thanks to the pioneer school of Sousse contribution, we were able to make this
simulation which had the two committees of the Arab League and the European Union.
It found a huge success, from providing the study guides and facilitating the debates to
keeping a strong presence and writing resolutions..

3rd mini-simulation: 19 March 2022 at FLSH Sousse

The objective of our 3rd mini simulation of the 2022-2023 mandate was to introduce our
recent recruits to new and different types of committees, to learn their procedures (the
ICJ, Crisis Committee) and still practice their negotiation and debating skills more
through the committee of UN Women.

Handover Ceremony and Elections of the new Executive Board: 26 July 2023 at FLSH Sousse

The ceremony went very smoothly with most of our active members present to vote for their next executive board in an atmosphere of transparency and democracy. We first started with an overall recap of the previous mandate. Each Secretary General presented a report of their department’s work throughout the term. Then, we proceeded to the elections of the upcoming mandate; each candidate had a 10 minute presentation, then a 5-minute Q&A. After that, each person voted for the new EB with two observers; one from the National executive bureau and the other from TIMUN TBS.
